Positive: Dearest Chantal and Jean-Francois were the kindest and most toughtful hosts you can imagine. We spent a week in their Provence-dream place and we enjoyed it so much! The house is beautiful and the garden and the pool are absolutely stunning. We loved our time spent there, from delicious breakfast to quiet moments by the pool. I think our dog enjoyed it too :) the location is the best to explore the area. I think its very clear where we would stay if were ever in Provence again. Thank you again for everything! PS - I bought the Peter Mayle book :)

Positive: An old Provençal farmhouse, transformed with great thought and respect for tradition into a comfortable and very welcoming guesthouse in the middle of a beautiful garden with a swimming pool, many lovely corners to quietly rest but also possibilities to spend quality time with family, friends or other guests, is in itself an excellent choice for those who want an authentic Provence experience. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a short or longer stay. Local farmers' delicacies and wines are available for those who want to cater for their own meals. The location of the guesthouse provides easy and comfortable access to major cities, towns and villages as well as numerous cycling and walking routes. What makes a stay at the Fontaine des Magnarelles a very special experience is its owners, Chantal and Jean-François. With their openness and friendliness, and above all their great love for their home region, they are indispensable guides to Provence, whether for its typical food and wines, its local restaurants, its shops and markets, or its cultural institutions of all sorts. In particular, anyone interested in Provençal history and art will benefit from their wide knowledge and inside information which they are willing to share with all those interested. It was our first trip to France and we didn't know what to expect. That's why it meant so much more to us that we found more than just a guest house in Fontaine des Magnarelles. Chantal and Jean-François provided us with a home from which we set off each day on a new little adventure, returning in the evening tired but full of impressions to report back to them. At the end of our holiday, it was with a heavy heart that we said goodbye to them, but we sincerely hope to return as soon as possible.

Positive: We had an absolutely wonderful stay at La Fontaine des Magnarelles, hosted by Chantal and Jean-François. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. The accommodations were perfect for our family of five (3 boys + parents), offering plenty of space and comfort. The peaceful surroundings made it an ideal place to unwind, and the attention to detail in every aspect of our stay did not go unnoticed. Chantal and Jean-François were attentive hosts, always ready to offer advice or share a story, making us feel right at home. We left with fond memories and look forward to returning in the future!

Positive: It’s so picturesque in an amazing setting. The apartment itself was really roomy, exceptionally clean and so well decorated.There were beautiful touches like little complementary lavender biscuits. Stunning views from the windows. Both the inside and outside breakfast areas were well appointed and very pretty. Hosts were absolutely lovely and so accommodating. They gave us lots of tips on places to visit and things to do in and around the area.
Negative: Honestly there was nothing we didn’t like.

Positive: Chantal and Jean-Francois are great hosts - they gave a lot of information and recommendations on the region/restaurants etc. We felt very welcomed! The breakfast (and diner 3 times available per week) included a lot of regional products and was very tasty. We especially liked the smart add-ons to have a convenient stay: you can buy regional meals, soft drinks and vine at the guesthouse for very fair prices and you have a well equipped kitchen and space in the refrigerator for your own use.
